Behnaz Saljooqi, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries in the western zone, discussed and analyzed the challenges and opportunities for entrepreneur’s women in the western zone of the country. She stated, “In the past two years, 565 women entrepreneurs in the western zone of Afghanistan have engaged in economic and trade activities, and during this time, 16 exhibitions of handicrafts and products of entrepreneur’s women have been held. However, despite these opportunities and achievements, female traders and entrepreneurs receive less public support. Additionally, authentic Afghan carpets, representing the craftsmanship of Afghan women, are exported to international markets under the names of other countries. We hope that officials and collaborating institutions support us in promoting Afghan handicrafts and other products, including carpets, with the Afghan brand and mark in international markets.”

Furthermore, other speakers in the program presented scientific and practical content on entrepreneurship, indicators of prosperity, and factors influencing achieving prosperity and reducing poverty in Afghanistan for the participants. Subsequently, they responded to questions from the attendees.
