Tea and Liberty: Gathering of Liberty Advocates

Tea and Liberty program organized in Kabul to bring together and motivate young people and students. The event featured the participation of youth, students, social activists, members of the Volunteer Network, the leadership team, and the executive team of this intellectual forum.

In the opening session, the speakers analyzed the position and role of freedom in the social, cultural, and economic growth and development of society. They encouraged the participants to study scientific and practical materials related to liberty and to implement innovative ideas of freedom in their actions.

In the Freedom Brainstorming session, participants expressed their perspectives on the concept of freedom, the role of freedom in economic growth and development, and the individual freedom in the sacred religion of Islam in written form on pages. They then shared their opinions with everyone and placed their handwritten thoughts about freedom in the box of freedom ideas.

In another part of the program, the book ‘Why as a Muslim I Defend Liberty’ by Mustafa Akyol was introduced to the participants and with the aim of promoting new ideas of freedom in harmony with Islamic teachings, one copy of the mentioned book was gifted to each of the youth.

Tea and Liberty is a series of practical and motivational programs launched to strengthen the motivation of Afghan youth and students for effective and satisfactory social activities and to introduce new opportunities for young people.
