Co-Partnership of AELSO at National Youth Conference –2020
Afghanistan Economic & Legal Studies Organization (AELSO) as one of the main co-partners of the White Assembly has successfully organized one day National Youths Conference (NYC) on peace and prosperity in the main auditorium of Kabul University with more than 400 participants and youths representatives from all over the country.
The conference started with the opening remarks from Mr. Khalid Ramizy (chief Executive Officer of AELSO), followed by talks and presentations from well-known political, social and academic personalities who shared their ideas, plans and works to the audience.
The CEO of AELSO called promoting the values of free society as the main goal and motive of the conference and said:
“The vision and main goal of the conference is to educate and teach human and free society values to each and every participant, and to collect their ideas and actions plans for promoting liberal, free society and human values in the society with liberty, tolerance, human rights, peace and prosperity as the center of our efforts. We’ll publish all these ideas and plans as a booklet for today’s and tomorrow’s generation of the country.”
Continuing the program, other key speakers have emphasized on the inevitable ties of the free society values with ensuring sustainable peace and prosperity in the country. They expressed:
Teaching and promoting liberal values, tolerance, human rights and pluralism can pave the ground for sustainable peace in Afghanistan. It will also positively impact human values in the society, culture of living in the cities, as well as mutual respect, and will help in promoting as well as educating free society values in Afghanistan in order to create a prosperous and inclusive society.
The views and ideas of the youth’s representatives in National Youths Conference from all over the country regarding peace, liberty and other core values of free society have been collected through questionnaires, views exchange and group works. The summary of all these views and ideas discussed about peace, liberty and core values of free society will be published and distributed as a booklet with the direct help from AELSO.
Moreover, AELSO is also committed in helping the White Assembly to organize such events in the future as well so that more youths from remote areas of the country will be able to participate in the conference, discuss liberal and free society values and get these values back with themselves to their most deprived and isolated geographies.
